NOTES FROM THE UNDERGROUND During the first month of 2006 Peter Burr, Christopher Doulgeris, and Cassadra C Jones were living at the Drake Hotel in Toronto having art shows in the lobby and in the club downstairs (here is a video that explains what we are talking about). Right before leaving to return to warmer west coast climates they put together the first CARTUNE XPREZ show ever. This event revealed to us the power of live magic in a cartoon theater thanks to the killer combination of performances by Slow Dance Recyttal, Animal Monster, and Zeesy Powers sharing the stage with a couple hours of animated videos.
